چکیده
To determine for the first time, whether "pumping" or "weak contraction," defined as blastocoelic contraction by more than 8 microns in diameter, is associated with poor implantation rates, independent of other morphokinetic features. We analyzed 148,441 images from time-lapse sequences 317 expanded blastocysts, chosen transfer, known data. Using a computer vision algorithm, we were able to measure blastocyst approximated best-fit circle, steps microns. "pumping event" contraction" when diameter was smaller compared its image taken 40 minutes earlier. further "major pumping event," greater 16 microns, vs “minor event” where it but no also an "early occurred up 140 “late over The extent, number events, and stage blastulation at which measured embryos’ outcomes. Learning Temporal Transformations from Time-Lapse Videos
Based on life-long observations of physical, chemical, and biologic phenomena in the natural world, humans can often easily picture in their minds what an object will look like in the future. But, what about computers? In this paper, we learn computational models of object transformations from time-lapse videos. In particular, we explore the use of generative models to create depictions of obje...
متن کاملPregnancy achieved by transfer of a single blastocyst selected by time-lapse monitoring.
Appropriate selection of a single blastocyst for transfer decreases the risk of multiple gestations. By using a compact time-lapse microscope system placed inside a regular incubator, combined with a microwell embryo culture dish, the development of all the embryos from a patient was continuously monitored by obtaining images at 10 min intervals. The embryos were not moved during the time-lapse...
متن کاملTime-lapse videomicrographic observations of blastocyst hatching in cattle.
Morphological changes of cultured bovine blastocysts during hatching were observed using time-lapse videomicrography in order to investigate the patterns of the hatching process that occurred in the blastocysts and to determine whether the hatching patterns differed between blastocysts developed from fresh and cryopreserved embryos. Compacted morulae (CMs) were collected from superovulation-tre...
متن کاملI-12: Objective Embryo Assessment Utility of Time-Lapse
Background Traditionally, embryo incubation and assessment daily has been under a light microscope, these observations are inevitably restricted to specific times and considering that the development of the embryo is a dynamic process, several critical stages in between observations may go unnoticed. For this reason, the new technologies, time lapse monitoring, have focused on the research for ...
